It is a paradox but it is so true---
It's colour is crimson red,
Yet it washes the dirtiest heart
And makes it whiter than snow--
The precious Blood of the Lamb
That was spilt at Golgotha.

Nothing else you need to be pleasing to God,
Only faith in this precious blood

My dear, it will make you clean and spotless
No matter how filthy you are--
